We're on day 16 hatching and when Bella just got turfed out my friend accidentally dropped one of her eggs and now it has a hairline crack on it. Just candled and turns out it was one of the ones that look like developing (in fact very nearly developed)  Is there nothing I can do, should I just dispose of the egg?

I'd leave it and perhaps put some clear nail varnish over the crack if you can.

PS Rosa is all better now and good at hunting moths and flies

Little bit of glue, kiddies stuff right over the crack will do it

I think Foxy has used nail varnish in the past, I've only ever used glue

Thankyou, nail polished and back in. You lot are super quick. My heart was in my mouth as he handed me the egg, looking ever so upset  You can feel the weight in it, didn't expect that!
