Planting started :-)
« on: January 31, 2021, 16:21 »
After cleaning up the greenhouse, bubble wrapping it and deciding on a plan I've finally sown some seeds!

2 trays of Bedfordshire Onions
half tray of tabasco chillies and a tray of anaheim milder chillies
A dozen cloves of 1 Solent Wight garlic in pots

Planning some Tomatos tomorrow, Roma and Sweet million.

Unfortunately my greenhouse has a fallen tree on it!   It would be too cold here anyway just now. My mum has been nagging at me to share my collection of tomato seeds and she'll start them in her kitchen though.

What do you use to hold the bubble wrap to the walls and roof of the greenhouse? I have some horticultural bubblewrap and am trying to  work out the best way to pin it to the walls. I'm thinking either double sided tape or clothes pegs to clip it to the frame .

I used these, hold the insulation away from the glass and supposedly will create a better "double glazing" effect. They're quite fiddly though.
