Title: New to greenhouse growing.

I have been offered a 8 by 6 glass greenhouse. If I am allowed it on the allotment it would be unheated( no power supply) except for times of real hard frost ( a paraffin heater is available). What could I put in it immediately is it too late for things like melons for this season?

Not too late for the likes of melons, cucumbers, peppers, and even tomatoes, but you would have to beg or buy the plants rather than sow now, especially as you haven't even got the greenhouse yet!
