I always grow my sweet peas against the side of the garage.  A wooden frame attached to the wall, then a fine green netting attached to that.  Really works well for me. :D

If not got a spare wall, put netting aginst a fence. :)

Hope that helps and good luck.

No walls near my garden so I just put in 2 strong posts with netting in between. Ain't pretty but once the leaves fill it out, you'll never notice. Without the netting the sweet pea tendrils would strangle anything they can grab onto. Also makes it easier to clip flowers and catch any pods forming which would stop production. I considered a pyramid trellis one year but it would be impossible to see any pods on the inside.

So a bit of trellis screwed to my fence would do the trick?
And you reckon they;d happily climb in and amongst courgette and butternut climbers?

They'll climb among them, but whether or not they're happy....  I'd guess not since squash leaves are much larger and would shade out the sweet peas altogether.
