[Novice]

This is my first year growing pumpkins (really only for me and my GrandDaughter to have a pumpkin head competition at Hallow'een...she's only 14 months so I think I'll win)....but do I need to construct a frame for them to grow up, or are they OK scrambling along the ground ?

scrambling over the ground is fine and their large leaves will keep the bigger weeds at bay hopefully  

Don't forget to make soup with your pumpkin flesh. It's lovely and very good for your little un

lying them on the ground is fine I think that's the natural way for them to grow

also if you want you can roast the seeds and season them with spices just look it up on the internet
