My First crop of runner beans and my first cabbage

My girlfriend and I are both really pleased with the first crop of runner beans and our first cabbage.  The hard digging, weeding and nurturing of the plants has paid off.

I've not got large enough scales, but there are well over 5lb of beans.

Yes , I would imagine it would be really difficult to get those on some scales.
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.

Allotment holder since 27th May 2007.

Well done ! It must be so rewarding...

I have only just pickep up my first tomato on my allotment (I got it 2 months ago) and I was so excited about it, so I can imagine...  :lol:

Wow !! what a great dinner you're both going to enjoy !! Where are you ?
I'm so jealous we've got beans just setting but our cabbages are still not hearted . Been eating lots of salad,beetroot,carrots,tomatoes at last and the garlic just harvested is a good size . So all is not lost but its so wet that I think we should have stuck to rice this year !!

Well Done to you , it makes all the challenges worthwhile and dont mind the comments from the lads, Aunt Sally will be along soon to send them to the naughty step !! :)
