Veg that climb??
« on: April 03, 2012, 16:47 »
Been sorting out my home made shed today, i have put 2 trellises on the side, (full sun) and 2 on the front door, (partial sun, gets it in the morning until the afternoon) i was wondering if there was any unusual veg i could make climb up them (like cucumber???) or something like that, it will go up the side of the shed, and over the window thanks

You can 'encourage' courgettes to climb by 'tying them in' every 6 inches or so.   The fruits are easier to see and kept clean.  :)   It also saves a load of space.        Cheers,     Tony.
