Veg Preservation Society...
« on: May 04, 2013, 22:21 »
Devonbarmygardener and I have decided that we should start a post which supports veg growers in the UK and worries about our own interests first! We're totally unpolitical of course!

So, in the immortal words of Noel Coward, ("Someone's been using my toilet..."),(WHAT! - ED) we've now formed the above Society!

This is the Veg Preservation Society

...to be sung at every opportunity!

VPS - VPS - VPS...

What have you done about it?

(Retires into secret bunker to count my heritage peas and tomatoes).

They'll come to me I tell you!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I can't agree there - I only grow climbing Fr**** Beans as I love their flavour..

But we can refer to them as 'climbing beans' ;) ;)

Getting DD to advance a plan to ban Fr*** Beans is like getting the Pea Administration Committee to agree to nuclear weapons destruction...
