Chitting potatoes

Where I’ve chitted my potatoes the new shoots a bit long are they still okay to put into the ground thank you

If they have really long shoots it is difficult to plant them without breaking them, but yes you can plant them.   

If you think they really are too long, rub them off and the seed potatoes will make more.  It should only take a  few days, so it will not delay your planting times very much  :)
