That list of chillis is quote something - Dorset Nagas - are you mad?!! Hottest chilli known to personkind!

Love to see the varietal names you all use - I should post mine when I'm sure what I'll be sowing.

One thing I did grow last year and which was delicious was the lettuce 'Reine des Glaces' - the reason I mention it is I saw Raymond Blanc talking about it last night and it reminded me of the lovely salads we had last year. Recommended,as most of you seem to like lettuce.

One thing I did decide on was just to grow dwarf beans this year and not the talller types this year, as they were quite fantastic, and no stringiness.

That's you and me both.

I like to grow food you can eat. I can't see any other point.

Brian keeps saying to me, are you going to grow any Dorset Naga's this year?  I did have a go last year, but I lost the plants  :(

But seems pointless really as neither of us like our food too hot and spicy!

But I've still got 6 or 7 varieties to try.

Grown down the road from me - perhaps I'll sow some chillies in a pot this year too, there might be something in the water!

we're both wrong

madness!

What a lot of people don't realise is that these amazing heat levels are mostly only achieved by stressing the plants by various methods, if however they are left to grow normally, although hot, they are all edible with good flavour. For example the lemon chilli realy does have a citrus tang to it.
I am trying most of these for the first time, next year I will probably only grow about 10 varieties

New thread opened for chilli peppers to continue this.

Will be planting much the same as everyone else in the veg line.

Given up on the sweet peppers. Never have anything to write home about!

I want to plant a mulberry tree and then be patient as I think it takes a heck of a time to fruit.

Will also be concentrating on planting out fruit bushes this year.
Would also like to plant a money tree but can't find one yet!

I guess the money plant is a poor substitute  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
