Surprised Hayles could find the site with all the homebrew she had on the go just before Christmas!!!!

My carrot wine turned out lovely, even though the book said to wait a year before drinking.  Are they having a laugh??  I know it will taste BETTER after a year, but I can't wait that long.  

The Ribena wine is good too, but will save a bottle of that til next Christmas, but the orange juice turned out a bit dry for me, so have mixed it with some of the carrot which was a bit sweet, so now have some carrot and orange wine waiting to finish clearing!!!!

I call this bit the Pub "The Allotmenteers Arms"  
 I gave my mum some more blackberry wine the other day and told her it would be better after a year she said "Yeah right like it will make it that long"    My dad once asked her if she would like a beer when the local Vicar was round for a BBQ, she didn't realise he had arrived and was preparing salad in the kitchen she shouted "IS A PIGS bum PORK!"  She meant yes :shock:
