My brother mentioned that one to me last week, but I thought it was in Aldi.  But I pay £11 for 240 litres, so not really a bargain for me, but handy if I only wanted a small amount.

I won't tell you how much of this year's purchase is still sitting unused.

It's all gone!

What with sowings of 100+tomatoes, 100's of leeks and all the other sowings.  Then renewing my 2 hayracks outside the kitchen for my new fuschia's, 5 baskets hanging in greenhouse with tomatoes, my new strawberry tower and the rest went into big pots outside with garden pearle toms in.  In fact I think I used 360 in total this year!

Blimey! So I suppose you saved 94p on your big load. I just would not have the space or energy to use that amount. 80 litres a year would be plenty for me.

Also Lidl is easy to get to for most folks. What do you transport a 240 litre bale in?

  They come in 60 litre bags, so not very big.  They easily go in the back of the car.

We are lucky in that the place we get them from is only 3 mile up the road.
