Title: anti hen pecking spray

I have bought some stinkingly smelly spray in an attempt to prevent one of my hens pecking another....boy does it stink!!
 :shock:

Sunset(the one with the bare bott) is getting fed up with being tipped upside down to be inspected everyday so I'm going to try the 'sleeping chicken' routine mentioned elsewhere on this forum.

I might try it on the one who's doing the pecking and see if it has any beneficial effects on her  :evil: I'm not happy with her and she isn't laying very well at the moment either...she's not in my good books :roll:

I bought some purple spray to try to deter pecking, it doesn't smell though, there has been les pecking going on.

Make sure they're not bored. If they're in a small run, you need to provide some entertainment....the odd video, a few magazines and maybe a playstation?? No, just a cabbage or the like hung up should suffice!!
