If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

My first reaction was that 750W doesn't look very powerful, but there are plenty of 6.5W to 9W American electric tillers that would be drawing 750W to 1kW, and the Mantis is only 540W in anycase so it's probably powerful enough although I'd want something with an internal combustion engine myself.

There's one with the same power in the Coopers of Stortford catalogue which arrived inside the newspaper today - its £49.99. P&P is £4.99 but they also have a number of catalogue items at extremely reduced prices on an over over £30.00. :) They have a website, but I can't see the tiller on there - must be me. ::)

Well,i bit the bullet and went out and bought a tiller from argos for £40 :D Its great, as long as the soil isnt too hard, so i tend to loosen it slightly with a spade and then use the Rotavator :D

Been pricing up hand held tillers...they are a wee bit pricey arent they? £40!
