Title: Help with my rotovator
Post by: Bodmin29 on August 06, 2011, 22:18
Between me and my father in law we bought a rotovator, just needed a couple of things doing to it to get it running properly. It needed a new clutch cable and lever also a new belt.

Now I've sorted the cable and lever out using one from an old bicycle but i need a belt but i don't know the make of rotovator as theres no markings on it, I believe it could be a Merry Tiller or Howard.

Its running a Honda GX160 5.5hp motor.

Please Help

If you have the old belt even if its broken just take it to some weir like bearing traders and get a new one or if you havent got the old belt run a piece of string round the pulley's to measure with and then you need to measure the width at the top of the pulley and then go to the shop with this but tell them that the string measurement is at the bottom of the pulley and they will sort you out

Take the old belt to any motor factors or measure around they should be able to help you no trouble, Mike
