Title: chicken with a cold?

can anyone please help one of my chickens appears to have a cold ie a runny nose and sneezing  now and again I have got her living in my kitchen away from the other two how long should I keep her sepperated from them. I dont want to put her back on the allotment as one has just started to lay, as you can guess I am a total new starter any help recieved would be great

She may improve with a little warmth and tlc but if she doesn't then you'll have to take her to the vets for some antibiotics - good luck.

Hi and welcome. I agree with Rubelite. You should see improvement in a couple of days, so could put her back with her pals, if not better by then, check with the vet, but maybe she could go back with her family and they can ALL have the anti-b's.   Good luck  :)
