I'm confused!? Bought Maris Peer to grow in conatainers for Christmas. I have read forum about container growing but Sutton Seeds instructions say to grow each spud 15" apart. I've got around 60 of them  That's a lot of containers  Never grown spuds before in case you hadn't guessed.

blimey ive only got 6!    im sure people on here will take them off your hands if you need to and refund you any loss.    i bet they would cover half an allotment

They came as a 2kilo bag. Anyone near Dartford? your welcome to some.

Do you have a plot,if so try some of them in the ground,and hope for a reasonable autumn,thats what im doing.Keep a dozen for containers.I have not tried Christmas spuds before,but i will cover with polythene cloches later in the year when frost is forecast.Nothing ventured ,nothing gained.
