Title: Maris Peer seed potatoes looking dry
Post by: seeNeutral on April 19, 2009, 19:48
Hi
I have been chitting my Maris Peer spuds and have taken my off the ball slightly and not noticed until this evening that they may have been in too much sun. They are starting to look dry and wrinkled.

I have moved them to the back of the shed wear the light is less, however since they are drying out will this cause problems when I plant them? I was looking to plant out at the end of the month but can of course bring it forward if need be.

Any advice most welcome.

They should be OK & given your location. I'd get them in sooner, rather than later.

I would get them planted as soon as you have time. I have mine in already and they will be safe from frost underground.
