This lady is spot on. Nobody warned me of these hazards before I hatched my first chickens.

OMG...spot on!

  She has just described my OH - he wants a goat and a sheep. ::)
-
We will be looking at properties in France while on holiday as it is cheaper to get land over there. Alpacas would be on my list.

When do they arrive then?
-
As soon as he can smuggle them without me noticing. :D
-
If we had room I would not need to smuggle anything in as long as he still got fed and watered before the livestock!! ::)
-
Trouble is we do have the room - I would not mind a goat as they are relatively easy to look after but not the sheep.

Lets hope he doesn't read this then.

No chance - OH is a total Luddite when it comes to anything techie. But he just loves pottering about doing things to make his hens comfy and safe. Oh yes - and watching them.
-
Nothing wrong with that. Speaking from experience of course.

Did you see the programme with Kate Humble in Peru last week, they were alpaca farming, very interesting :)

 I didn't know the OH was video blogging....

Just seen this thread! :D :D :D
Bit too close to the truth! There's me talking to a lady at the Cotswold Show yesterday about beekeeping and doing a "taster" course with her group (not forgetting about the miniature donkeys (a pair) once we find a paddock nearby for them... Oh and just a couple more hens... Perhaps another cockerel... And another puppy in a year or so...) :nowink:
-
Errrmmm, we have just bought a place so we can do more. Our five girls are due to have three new friends already, and we have lots of outbuildings.................and animal markets in three near towns every week. I have managed to avoid them so far. ::)
But for how long?
Great video. Even made OH chuckle....nervously.
