Carol Klein on channel 5

has anyone been watching Carol Klein's garden program on channel 5 i thought it quite good  with sowing and planting i think that's far more informative for the home gardener than the quite spars effort of Gardeners World 

it makes a change for someone to actually bring the bread and butter side of gardening to the would be gardeners just her garden and thankfully no other interruptions she says it as it is a real gardener presenting a real gardeners program  for the real gardeners well worth watching 

I also enjoyed it 

I like her.  A letter in my newspaper said, does she have the same barber as Boris       Mrs Bouquet

Am I right in thinking that there was just 2 programmes?  If so I also watched them.

I really enjoyed Carol's "How to grow your own veg" back in the day and have the books too.

Not sure I can be doing with all the Latin named stuff she gets given to present on GW but when left to her own devices I find her shows very informative and great for the newbie and experienced gardener alike.

I've been really disappointed with GW for many years now, too much "oh lets look at this Japanese garden" or "you too can create this great woodland, just as long as you have a garden the size of Wembley Stadium" and definitely not enough practical stuff that we can do small size and expand at our leisure to suit.

So GW rant over and congrats for CK, hope there's more to come.
