Title: securing a greenhouse

We did a quick 'drive by' my Mum's lottie today to check all was well in these winds only to discover her little greenhouse has blown over!

It was a small new 6x4 that had only been put up in September. It looks beyond repair!! She never even got to use it. :cry:

It's got me thinking though... I was looking at buying this greenhouse.. http://www.gardenbuildingsdirect.co.uk/Aluminium-Metal-Greenhouses/Palram-Greenline-Polycarbonate- as we have 2 little-uns running around.

As it will be lighter than glass and Mum's glass one blew over so how on earth do you secure a greenhouse to the ground?  :?

I was at an advantage because I remembered the thread and just needed a few keywords.

Searching is actually quite tricky so I wrote up some instructions - follow the Help link in my signature to find them.

P.S. Does a hero get bigger pay than a moderator?  :wink:
