Odd the statement about round up not working. It works for me. I do expect to do once a month though.
I think they said 'it doesn't work as good in the dormant season', which is correct, it doesn't. Weeds need to be actively growing to get better, faster results from using any 'glyphosate' pesticide. It will still work during the colder months as long as daytime temps are above 6⁰c, however, it will take longer for it to be effective before killing off any unwanted weeds.
