I'm just wondering.. as i have male dogs, and yet noticed today that i have yellow patches of dying grass in my garden.. almost like a bitch has been urinating there..

I'm thinking maybe it's a fox (female) marking the garden or urinating while she's here at night?

is this possible?

Foxes most certainly do scent mark and will used the same spot time after time.

Our dog leaves yellow patches in the grass but then he was 'done' as a pup if that makes a difference.

ooh well maybe it's the dogs then, but i've never had yellow patches with them before, both were done as pups.  :?
interesting that may be a fox though too.. i thought it was only girl dog wee that marked/bleached the grass, and boy dogs made it grow more (more nutrients).

I think the smells he emits from the rear would kill any vegetation at a hundred paces.  :?

It takes him a while but there are definite brown patches where he insists on going.
