I'm tempted to put my ones in the PT out over the weekend but even cautious about this.

Here in north Hampshire it�s forecast to hit 5 degrees at night this weekend so my tomatoes are staying put. Probably consider putting them out during the day this week but not leaving them out overnight till next weekend depending on latest forecast.

I made the error on this forum of bad-mouthing a squirrel that frequents my plot...

Clearly seeing this as 'disrespecting' him, he returned and utterly trashed my birdfeeder...

It wouldn't surprise me to meet him looking for me with a tiny twelve-bore...

I'll keep my remarks to myself in future

The Dorset coast is warmer than Yorkshire, which is where I am, but no I wouldn't do so yet up here.

You need reliable overnight temps of 10 degrees or more. Have a look at what yours are on the south coast.
