I've just ordered a Bengal kitten!  he's 4 weeks old and won't be ready to leave mum for another 8 weeks or so

Bengals are lovely cats. It's your mum's new kitten's fault - making you all kitbit broody  :tongue2:

ooh which colour and markings have you ordered, also which size? I would love one of the larger size ones (think even Jim wouldn't disagree with one of those) but the ones that I have looked at which are the right size are £1500 - way out of my pocket money range

Not that much, although I do have a severe pain in  the wallet.  I totally agree that it's my mum's fault - but I've hankered after one for years.  He's a brown spotted and I met him today and he's gorgeous :) My poor Oliver cat has been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid so we are starting treatment and still doing tests.

Poor Oliver  :( Such a handsome boy. I hope with medication he can have a good few more years with you as he is a lovely boy.

I think Rosa will like having a kitten to play with - once she gets over being jealous which all girls cats go through a phase off with new kittens  ::)

Cam says that Rosa can be the kitten's mum as she is older and he won't have his mum.  They are beautiful babies.

That's very sweet of Cam  You never know it may happen. Little Spike kitten thinks Shia puss is his mum and despite the fact she has always ignored the other cats she indulges him totally by letting him jump on her head, loads of play fighting and washes and she will even share her tuna with him which is a first! Hopefully Rosa will be the same with the little kitbit  :)

Neither Paul nor I are particularlly cat lovers but we seem to have been 'adopted' by this black shaggy cat that sleeps on our patio every night.  If we leave the door open he/she creeps in and curls up on the settee.  It is very friendly and 'curls' it's way round both our legs.  We are not feeding it or encouraging it in any way.  It is quite plump so getting food from somewhere (and I don't think I mean plump as in pregnant, just normal cat size).
