I want to re-home Timón and Charlie
« on: February 22, 2013, 18:58 »
They are being really naughty :(  in the past week Charlie has chewed up earphones, either Charlie or Timón chewed a hole in the quilt cover on our bed, they bully poor Mili and they between them have just chewed a hole in the front of my new pj's  :( this is the thanks I get for castrating them.

They'll take a while to calm down as the hormones fade. You need to continue to have patience. :)

Ahhh  ... can you blame them for not appreciating you making them very sore in places they still wish they had??? ::)

They will calm down ....   when the hormones go and the warmer weather comes.

have you thought about crate training them Pamela? Rosie suffers from separation anxiety and whenever she realises I am not there she goes into chewing and wrecking mode, so we have now got her a new cage, we put on her thundershirt and give her a kong toy which we fill with treats. So far she is calmer and far happier and so are we  :D
Staffies are softer than you think.

As mentioned, takes a while for the hormones to settle, being adults, will no doubt take longer.

If it's any consolation, had my cat "snipped" on the 11th, he's now hid my watch somewhere.  :(

Need to get a new one till the old one turns up.

I think they are still around 2 years old, so pups in their minds. They chewed the stuff in front of us!
They are both asleep at Jim's feet like little angels :D

At least they have stopped the peeing and pooping in huge quantities?

Sorry but I am still laughing at your original post...!   :D
