Hi

Does anyone know of any good suppliers of Oriental poppy plants ?

Prefrably named varieties, within either Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, West Sussex or South London ?

Or mail order ?, but cheap as funds limited.

Tried Ebay & have seeds, but lost my seedlings last year to powdery mildew.

Trying a few root cuttings this year, many thanks for any help/growing tips.

i had one it never flowered the buds would form then turn black?

Sounds like the buds were maybe rotting.

Was it in shade ? Damp area ?

They are sun lovers, but have had bud problems on young plants in their first flowering year, go brown, split & don't open, but usually ok by the 2nd year.
