All laying
« on: July 02, 2010, 10:11 »
My youngest RIR is now laying so we are getting 4 eggs a day from our 4 girls.  Unfortunately they have been on antibiotics so the eggs have been thrown away.

Could the eggs be boiled and given to the seagulls?  Or does anyone have any ideas what to do with the eggs as it seems such a waste.

the odd egg can be cooked and given back to the girls as a treat and to give them a little bit more protein but yes cook the rest and feed the gulls although once you start doing that they will keep coming back for more  ::)
Staffies are softer than you think.

Good news, I'll cook them up and drive to the beach which is a few minutes away, that way they gulls will have no idea where I live

That would just be my luck.  I have enough trouble with pigeons which seem to love depositing their mess on my car, might just go on the bus LOL
