[New shoot]

OH got home yesterday and unusually I was already home.  The first words he said weren't hi or how was your day.  OOOhhhhhhh no it was 'have you given the chickens some corn yet' and a little anxiously.  No I replied and out he rushed to them.

Then saw Yoda, my tiny Serama, sitting on his arm while he hand fed her. When he came in I teased him a bit to which he replied 'she comes running to me and flies on my arm or my shoulder'  This is the man who usually refers to our lot as 'your daft chickens'

You're not alone...my hubby always makes a fuss of the dogs first - then the chickens if they are all out -  ...then eventually me ..as an after thought !!!!!

Mine have taken to stnading in a line at the patio window, pecking every now and again, to let me know its corn time.....
