Ive not managed 1 from my 3 plants yet  ::)

32lb sounds like goodly stash of muffins to me  or I make curry base sauce with the big ones.

Soup - rosemary goes well as a herb in it and you can freeze it for when it's a little less summery!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

To freeze soup I need to make jam, oh the endless jobs of an allotment holder. LOL

Jam
Muffins
Soup
Anything else.  ;)

Bread, cake, purée for later on, chutney, pickle. Pick earlier so they're not as big then there's less to deal with. How many plants have you got? I've got 6, so I'm  trying to pick small, but that's how I like them anyway :D

Have previously got courgette chocolate cake & muffin recipe from the recipe section from this site.  Chocolate cake is too moist for me but the muffins are lovely just remember to peel them and squeeze them out with a clean towel

I picked two Zeppelins today so Gluttony is on the cards for tomorrow. I really like it

You can make a sauce for pasta using the big courgettes, you just cook loads of em down in a huge frying pan in decent oil, with garlic and let them go fairly mushy and add plenty of Parmesan.  It's ever so filling. Cheap but tasty  :nowink:

Not sure how I missed a huge round courgette today, but as I'd just picked another 8, I gave the big one to the chickens!  They loved it!

I know they do. I miss my girls very much and seeing a Zeppelin makes me quite sad that I don't have any chooks to enjoy them.    I picked a lovely mess of weeds the other day, lots of lovely chick weed and dandelion. They would have loved to get stuck into it.  Ah, sigh  :nowink:

CQ, do you not fancy getting any more chickens? I keep thinking about it, but this garden wouldn't be good for them & I don't think I'd manage them on the plot.

Get them sliced and into the dehydrator for healthy crisps - they are lovely. All mine were snaffled at a BBQ yesterday with some tzatxiki.
