Did you hear The Food Programme on radio 4 this week (Sunday lunchtime and Monday afternoon)?  All about Japanese knives.  Worth listening to!

I was speaking to our butcher about knives and he recommended a self-sharpening Laser to me for general use so now I've got several of those and really like them. I have a Ken Hom cleaver for opening pumpkins but my fave small serrated knife is a Safeway cheapo which is the best thing ever!  It's always as sharp as a razor

I just bought my son a laser knife and he caught my husband hacking off render with it  :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy:
