I buy these for my visiting Robins and the chicken loves them but is very greedy and would eat them by the ton.  Is this ok or shoud I limit the amount she gets

i feed maggots its cheaper ........ but you feed em as you like  if ya giving them a couple pounds a day then yeh ur chucks wil get fat as for the robin she will know when she had enough  :wink:

My girls would fight (and kill) large dogs for meal worms.  They are high in protein and fat.  I used the dehydrated ones and only for treats.  I like sweeties and crisps, but don't eat them for dinner  :lol:
