in the past week or so i have noticed my light sussex hen is loosing her feathers around her back end and then just yesterday i noticed a flea in the house but our dogs dont have fleas and i have also seen a couple this eavning in my nest box do chickens get fleas???

Hi, hens get  lice and mites,dont know about flea's though. Personally i've never known anyone near me who keep poultry having a flea problem...Aden...

Hi like all animals chucks can get fleas you can treat with normal chuck powder or spot on kitten drops
