Title: solent white garlic

hi my fellow lottie goers,can i put my solent white garlic in this week end??? i have  clay soil,have put loads of top soil on since last oct also manure,lime and sharp sand to break it down,its also going into a raised bed, and has had several good dig overs since i got the pot in august,have been doing loads of work on it since i had it,greenhouse, new beds,place for cheery trees and asparagus and of course my shed,but now am ready to start the good work    grow grow and grow!!!   thanks for help

I would normally say yes bung it in as it needs a bit of cold to make the bulb devide. But think at the mo it is just too cold and wet for it to start and it would just rot IMO.
Don't panic tho cos i have left it as late as mid march to plant and still had decent garlic.
See what the others think...................
