Pansies/Violas
« on: July 24, 2014, 10:34 »
Hi,

Can anyone advise me as to the best time to sow pansy/viola seeds?

I have had a packet of seeds for 3 years now and not yet sown them (I keep forgetting!)

I want to put them in pots/baskets to replace the summer fuchsias and geraniums and give some colour over winter!

H :)

Before sowing, just check they are a winter variety. I'd expect your current flowers will last until late Sep so sow them shortly (also see what the packet says) in small-ish cells so you can plant them in your baskets easily.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
