I need a new wheelbarrow

And I also need some advice.  Ideally lightweight, galvanised with pneumatic tyre but not so lightweight that it keels over when you put something in it.  Capacity around 80l. And I don't want to spend more than about £35.  Help please!

I just got one of that description from Greenfingers, but 62.5l, £20, but not really had the chance to give it much of a hammering yet, so can't give a reliable review. Thats said it seems robust enough.

This is the one, but it seems to be £25 now. They have some 80l barrows but they are a bit more.

Might be worth looking at builders suppliers and places where animal feed is sold -- often  barrows aimed at use in stables are lightweight very corrosion proof and easy to clean but have a large capacity, Best to try before you buy and try with some weight in it rather than just empty.Keep in mind any tight corners, steps or narrow paths and spaces on your plot.
Mine is a builders barrow - used for everything from concrete and paving slabs to garden rubbish -- I have little ramps at steps etc and keep the tyre pumped up so it goes well even when full but it is the very devil to get back into its corner in the shed as it is quite heavy and unwieldy.

My current barrow was from a builder's merchants and has served me well for four or so years but it has now rusted through.  Also, despite great capacity, it was quite wide and heavy so I was constantly crashing it into the sides of gates etc (could be my driving!).  Thanks for all your other suggestions.  I'll follow them up.

I got a builders wheelbarrow in the end as they have solid tyres as I was fed up of getting punctures. It was a good move  :)

Got mine from the local tip shop for £5.  Great value.

I think this is the one I bought for Brian in 2011, but it was £63.  Worth it though.  Takes a HEAVY load and narrow enough to just fit through the greenhouse door

But a bit more than £35   :(

I have that style and treated it with Hammerite which has made it last a lot longer than it normally would. I think it very unlikely you'll get anything much in the galvanised line for roughly the price of an ordinary builders barrow. Also, galvanised barrows usually have painted steel frames anyway, so there's still a weak/rust point. I've seen plastic bodies on galvanised frames before, that might be an option to investigate.

Yes, I've been looking at the ones with plastic bodies but I wasn't sure how strong they would be.

I believe they're used, among other purposes I'm sure, for mucking out horses so they must be reasonably strong.

I've had one for donkeys years. I did split the plastic at the front one time by being beastly to it, but repaired it easy enough with some alluminum plate. It's been like that now for five years without any trouble.
