I've been plagued by slugs this year and too a lesser extent snails
The wet weather and cooler temperatures havent helped
I used to use slug pellets but they werent very successful when it rained
I've gone over to these slug traps, they have proved very successful
Now what do I do with the corpses?


Can I put them in my hotbin ?

Now snails, I gather them up, I put them out in the morning, I think its a blackbird that is eating them, I find the empty shell on the pathway, but I have never seen any bird eating them
The snails cant get into the slug traps
Their shells get crushed and they go in the hotbin, along with eggshells

I read an article about having slugs as a best friend, this year they are enemy number one
