Cucumbers...are these ok?

Are these ok, don't seem to be getting any bigger, but they're short and fat, haven't had this problem before, and pretty sure they are same variety I usually have...Tasty Burpless. Grown outside.

They're usually fine to eat, just occasionally you get 1 that's a bit bitter. It won't hurt you, but it just may need you to rinse before eating.

I've not grown that variety before (that I can recall at least).  Some cucumbers are shaped like that, but are perfectly fine to eat.

If you prefer longer, darker green types, try a variety called Telegraph. Heavy-yielding and excellent quality.

Tried one yesterday, the middle is big seeds with not much flesh around them, like the middle of a melon. Flesh was hard and tasteless. Oh well, try again next year 🙂
