Its good to be back

Hello everyone, I have not posted for nearly 12 months as we have had a very difficult year, family bereavement and then all my chickens and my beatiful Rooster Thomas were killed by the fox over 3 days 50 chucks. In the end where we were living lost its sparkle and we have now moved to a farm and I am starting to feel like restocking. In fact I am going to pick up three black rhodes this morning.

good for you, had 30 of mine killed by a fox so know the feeling, a Farm? restocking? lets see! horses, cow, sheep, goats (i'd think twice about the goats if i were you) dogs (for rounding up the sheep) cats (for killing the rats that the chickens may attract) oh and of course the chickens................................

Sorry to hear of you loss. Maybe this is what you need, new chicks fresh start. Keep us informed.
