Title: chick crumbs to growers what age?

Can someone tell me at what age I will need to switch my chicks from crumbs to growers pellets please.

I would switch them to growers at around 6ish weeks, then start introducing layers around 16-18ish weeks :)

Thanks Dizzy, that's about what I thought. In that case I'm going to be offering some chick crumbs in about 3 weeks. I sent my wife out to buy a bag the other day and she came back with a sack! we only have 4 chicks. :lol:

agree with lizzie, start to mix in growers/rearers with the chick crumb when the chicks are around 6 weeks old
