Overwintering plants growing
« on: January 08, 2020, 21:42 »
Kind of a thread jack but is anyone else's overwintering plants growing?

I'm the most northerly active person on the forum (as far as I know) and up here buds are growing.
We have rhubarb, a Tayberry and currants of different sorts waiting in the garage to be planted out once the allotments is properly applied with manure. They are all perking up and could do with settling down and going back to sleep for the rest of the winter.  the outside plant buds are livening up also.

The Tayberry was planted  in it's 1x1 foot manure enriched spot in the allotment earlier and is probably having a rather horrible night. it's due to sleet tomorrow. I may have been a tad hasty.
