One of mine had a mouse and the other five chased her round the pen for ages, it reminded me of a Benny Hill sketch (bet you have the music in your head already).      Certainly keeps them fit!

music playing  ;)

They did chase after the one who caught it. I ran for phone to call my hubby and by the time i got back to the window they each had a bit  It really freaked me out and told my hubby i couldn't check on them again  :(  Rodents aint my thing but am hugly aware about chickens attracting them.  (reason why i didnt want any)
Saw a mouse in the garden the very same day i got them. It was moving slowly and was covered in dog slav :D I did wonder what the mutt found so fasinating that he licked his lips for.
The things you do when you have to

Our cat Willow is no use in catching mice.  The only time I saw her near one was when she found another cat attacking a mouse in our garden.  She promptly chased the other cat away from the mouse, not so she could have it.  She came back to it to see if it was alright, it was shaken but unharmed.  Did not even put a paw on it, she was not at all interested!  Maybe she was a mouse in a former life.     I don't mind them in the garden as they are food for our local owl population.
