cabbage root fly

Hi to all, i am a new member to this site, and was wondering if any of you out there know if bromophos dust is still available as a pesticide as i have a big problem with cabbage root fly and all my gardening books say this is the best way of treating them

Hi & welcome to the forums.

Bromophos is now a banned substance. I'm sure you'll get some alternative suggestions, though!

Hi, many thanks for answering my question, i have been told a weak soloution of jeyes fluid works but dont know how weak it has to be,
