My Welsummer chick is now 31 days old, is it to soon to get a definitive answer as to whether it is a girl or boy?

Apparently, when they hatch the girls head shaping is more sharp, better defined than the boys. When I hatched 3 bantam welsummers I decided 2 girls and 1 boy and I was right!!!

So in first pic, the diamond on the head looked dimmer, but in second photo looks well defined, so I'm going with girl too!

but we thought my 2 were girls by their markings and they weren't if you remember Grannie

But were we, at the time, looking at how clear or fuzzy the markings were, or just the colouring??

So, I think that makes it so far

2 = Girl

0 = Boy

If God spares it to grow up I will search for this thread and let you all know, that way with the pictures etc it might help some other people.

But keep the 'educated' guesses coming
