We have an allotment in Cheddar, Somerset (hence the cheesy username).

My daughter recently spotted a classified ad for a venerable 2-stroke Iseki MC1 rotavator which we were able to pick up for the princely sum of £20.

It starts, runs for a few seconds, then cuts out. After a few goes like this it then won't start unless left a while or remove/clean the plug. I'm guessing it is something to do with the fuelling, but I'm not really a 2-stroke person. It does have the right fuel (20:1 mix) and the fuel tap is open. I took the fuel pipe off the carb and confirmed that fuel is flowing. Any suggestions on what to do next?

Also, I can't see one in the amazing manuals section. so does anyone have a manual for this rotavator?

TIA,

Cheesy
