I have two Bovan Goldlines "Bossy Boots and Mother Hen", they are 30 weeks old and have been laying since I got them 10 weeks ago.  I also bought 4 genuine Black Rocks "Skye, Little Miss Sunshine, Emerald and Road Runner" at the same time and they are 22 weeks old but not laying yet.

Bossy Boots had a couple of soft shelled eggs the other week and I managed to rectify this with advice I looked up on this site.  On Pancake Tuesday I was amazed when she laid a huge egg, 96g.  I could not bring myslef to use it on Pancakes but took photos and proudly showed it off to anyone I could find.  She laid a normal size egg on Wednesday, then another 96g egg on Thursday and normal size again today.

I am going to have an eggcellent breakfast tomorrow and will of course make a great ceremony of it with photos of however many yolks they contain.
