THIS OFFER HAS NOW FINISHED. ALL THE SEEDS HAVE BEEN USED UP.
As you probably know, we've been giving away seeds with every purchase of our books. Suttons have kindly sent us a load more for 2011 so we can keep that offer going. However, we've still got some of last year's seeds left.
Strictly speaking these are out of date now, so the germination rate cannot be guaranteed although I don't think you'll notice much difference as we've carefully stored them.
We've got the following seeds to give away:
Tomato 100s & 1000s - a prolific cherry variety suitable for containers
Tomato Incas - an outdoor plum variety, very nice flavour with good yields
Chilli Peppers Hot Stuff - they are hot!
Cauliflower Snowball - a traditional, reliable variety that I did well with and can be sown in September or October for over-wintering.
Calabrese (Broccoli) Autumn Spear, I've had excellent results with this variety.
This offer is first come, first served and UK only - all you need to do is send us a stamped addressed envelope - please mark your envelope as FREE SEEDS. Use an A5 envelope with a large letter stamp (58p second class, 75p first).
There's no catch, you don't have to buy anything. I just loathe waste and would rather see them used.
My address (to send your envelope to):

Hello John and Val
Do you still have the seeds? I would like some if you do.... Envelope ready and waiting..

We have had a few where people have put the SAE into the envelope to us folded so as to make it thicker than 5mm which attracts a postal surchage over a pound that we've declined to pay and not accepted delivery of (after the first 3 we stopped)
Some have used just an ordinary stamp on the SAE so we've only sent back 3 packets because of the PO rules and others have used pre-paid envelopes which are time limited for use. We posted those back but don't know if they got through.
One arrived in shreds in a plastic apology bag from the PO but we couldn't reconstruct it. I think that one was London but it was a while back
Finally it may have gone missing in transit either way (to or from us)
So, please try again if you want some - all we can do is pop them in the envelope and post them back.
