Cucumbers

Is it better to keep them in the fridge or out of it? I have a few marketmore ready for picking and would like to use them fresh rather than pickle them.

Also how long are they likely to keep?

Yup... wrap in cling filp and they'll keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks

I've often used my mother's trick of wrapping in a damp tea towel, same is with green beans.

i wrap beans - cucumbers etc in newspaper - in the fridge
