Hi everyone,

I have recently acquired a Norlett Tillermate 3-s and I have taken it upon myself to restore it to its former glory (it would be really useful for the allotment too).

I have a working engine, so that's no problem.  My main problem/confusion is over the pulley set-up in order to engage the engine.  I have a double big drive "wheel" on the frame.  One belt connects around the drive from the engine and a pulley engages -the engine, by tightening the belt via one of the levers - so I have forward drive.

I'm sure the other belt is used for a reverse (which would be very handy).  I have one pulley on a curved arm and another part (which looks like a solid Z shaped “bracket”).  I have no idea whatsoever how these parts fit to the machine, and it is driving me mad!

I think I am close, I just need some help getting the reverse working.  A photo of the pulley set-up from one of these machines would be perfect.

A photo of your machine would help too!!
Quite a few people on here have Norlet rotovators, so if you could post a picture, I'm sure someone will be able to help.
