Free Water Butts
« on: April 21, 2009, 15:23 »
Hi there. I work at a printers in Middlesbrough. We have lots of blue plastic barrels which used to contain 150kg of water soluble varnish. Once jet washed they make ideal water butts. I've already got rid of a fair few to local allotments, but we go through at least one a fortnight so consequently we have plenty remaining. I'd like them to go to a good home. So, as long as you're willing to collect, you can have as many as you want  completely free of charge. Reply to this post

Thanks a lot. I'm sure there are some members nearby who will love some.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

The best places to get these barrels are from print companies. Try phoning some up. You never know your luck.

Hi I live in Washington, work just off A19 at Seaham - so collection should be easy for me. Any left? Many thanks.

The response has been excellent so, on behalf of the environment, thanks. We go through a barrel a week, when we're busy sometimes more. At the moment I have only two left. Personal message me if you want them and I'll give you my number.
